On July 7, 2021, Rob Liefeld will finish his run of the best-selling G.I. JOE title, Snake Eyes: Deadgame, from Hasbro and IDW! The fifth issue finale features an All-Star list of comic book legends providing inks and finishes to Rob’s penciled art. Liefeld has decided to round out the cast by adding legendary artist and creator Kevin Eastman (TMNT), Ryan Ottley (Invincible, Amazing Spider-Man), Eric Canete (Justice League), and Karl Kerschl (Deadpool, Superman).
Liefeld wanted to take the event one step further. The Deadpool creator enlisted the Living Legend of G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero, Larry Hama. Rob will ink over Larry Hama’s pencils to create a special once-in-a-lifetime collectible cover event.
“I never dreamed the Snake Eyes: Deadgame finale would go out in such style, jamming alongside some of the greatest, most celebrated artists and creators in the history of comic books,” says Liefeld. “It’s been a dream come true, collaborating with my favorite artists in the business, past and present! The fans are in for something really special!”
