Recently posted on the official Peter Stormare Instagram page was a picture of Stormare as Satan in the film Constantine and underneath simply the comment “Sequel in the works.”
Getting many fans of the dark DC Comics film very excited as the original film from 2005 staring Keanu Reeves was a great success, so does this post reveal that we are indeed getting the much wanted sequel?
Produced on a $100M budget, Constantine opened to $29.7M at the domestic box office before going on to gross $230.8M worldwide. Whilst the film wasn’t a huge success with critics, it currently sits at 46% on Rotten Tomatoes, it garnered a 76% audience rating and remains a cult hit to this very day.
We keep our fingers crossed as we wait for the official confirmation.
