Marvel has begun to lift the lid on the final season of Agents of SHIELD with a brand new promo released late yesterday on social media. The series returns to screens in May in North America with its final batch of new episodes.
The final season will see Agent Coulson and his travel back in time to New York City 1931 in order to stop the Chronicom hunters from establishing Earth as their home base and maintain S.H.I.E.L.D.’s place in the timeline. But in order to save their future the team may also need to save its arch nemesis, Hydra!

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD returns on Wednesday, May 27 at 10 pm on ABC in North America. Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Ian De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Jeff Ward, Eve Harlow, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Coy Stewart star.
