Many moons ago here in the UK the government would use famous faces from TV and cinema to promote road safety to children. Most famously one of the Green Cross Code men – David Prowse – would go on to become the physical presence of Darth Vader. But there’s one advert thought lost to the sands of time.
Adam West once visited the UK, donned his Batcape and taught a group of children how to safely cross the road. Now that footage has been found and restored and has been made available online.
