Well, that was quick. Director Jeff Fowler took to Instagram to share some very exciting news. Filming for the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog movie has officially wrapped, which means the movie now enters post-production. The wizards behind the camera will be editing the footage, animating the characters, and crafting action sequences that exceed what we saw in Sonic 3– if that’s possible. To celebrate the news, Fowler shared a really cool new look at the physical stand in model for Metal Sonic, equipped with his iconic red metal shoes.
Despite having a few cast announcements, we don’t really know much about this fourth film. However, what we do know has us incredibly excited. Shadow is back. Amy Rose has joined the cast. Somehow, Robotnik returned. Metal Sonic might be just one of the villains involved, and there most definitely a few surprises in store that could be further explored once marketing commenses.
