This April, Beauty and the Beast star Luke Evans trades musicals for the mean streets with the release of 5lbs of Pressure. The film, directed by Phil Allocco, is a gritty crime thriller that will stream on Prime Video courtesy of Signature Entertainment.
Fresh out of prison for murder, Adam strives to rebuild his life in his old neighbourhood. But his fresh start is jeopardized by the vengeful brother of his victim. Meanwhile, Mike yearns to break free from his drug-dealing uncle’s influence. When Adam and Mike’s paths collide, violence ensues, leading to a final, desperate chance at redemption.
