Whilst Aquaman has been eating up the box office and headlines another movie has been quietly amassing an impressive haul. Sony Pictures Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has grossed over $275M worldwide.
In it’s eighth weekend at the domestic box office the film grossed an estimated $13M for a domestic total of $133.8M.
Whilst the international market begins to move on from Spidey it’s gross is currently sitting at $141.5M with only Japan left to open on March 8, 2019.
From a production budget estimated at $90M Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has guaranteed production will continue on previously announced sequels.
