Aquaman director James Wan has been discussing the reasons why he decided not to include other members of the Justice League in the movie.
It was Entertainment Weekly who asked the question of whether Gal Gadot or Ben Affleck might turn up to support Jason Momoa.
“I wanted to keep the story to the world of Aquaman and not have to worry about what other characters are doing in their films and how that would affect us,” the director explained. “I just thought the simplest way was to keep it clean — keep it simple and let it be an Aquaman story.”
Personally I think it’s better to allow Momoa to enjoy his first film entirely solo from the League. Do you agree?
