Trafalgar Releasing has confirmed it will be handling the UK theatrical release of Hadestown: The Musical. The filmed performance, captured during the original Broadway cast’s guest run in London’s West End, will release in UK and Irish cinemas on October 13, 2026. Trafalgar will also release the film in Australia and New Zealand with tickets on sale now and available from hadestownfilm.com. Ahead of Marvel Studios’ presentation this year’s D23 convention a brand new poster for Avengers: Doomsday has been officially released online. The new poster arrives are speculation mounts that a new trailer could arrive online later today, with tickets for the December 18 release now available to buy. The truth is returning to comic book stores as Dynamite Entertainment announces plans for a brand series of The X-Files. Anime leader Crunchyroll has acquired the worldwide distribution rights (excluding Asia, with the exception of India) to the next feature film from acclaimed filmmaker Makoto Shinkai, with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment to co-distribute. The project marks the latest highly anticipated release from Shinkai, one of the most successful and influential animation directors working today. Sad news for Power Rangers fans this morning. Whilst the franchise continues to flourish in comic books, the latest attempt to bring the series back into live-action at Disney+ has now officially ground to a halt.
