The truth is returning to comic book stores as Dynamite Entertainment announces plans for a brand series of The X-Files. Anime leader Crunchyroll has acquired the worldwide distribution rights (excluding Asia, with the exception of India) to the next feature film from acclaimed filmmaker Makoto Shinkai, with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment to co-distribute. The project marks the latest highly anticipated release from Shinkai, one of the most successful and influential animation directors working today. Sad news for Power Rangers fans this morning. Whilst the franchise continues to flourish in comic books, the latest attempt to bring the series back into live-action at Disney+ has now officially ground to a halt.
