The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has had a rocky road on the big screen. The 2014 live-action movie was warmly received but under performed at the box office whilst it’s 2016 sequel made even less money. Following the huge success of Mission: Impossible – Fallout in 2018 it has been announced that two further sequels are heading in to production. Overnight director Christopher McQuarrie and star Tom Cruise have confirmed production on back-to-back sequels due for release in 2021 and 2022. One talking point for many DC Comics fans leaving the cinema at the end of Aquaman was the stunning end credit sequence. Set to Skylar Grey’s “Everything I Need” the credits replay much of the story of the movie in the form on some outstanding CGI statues and still frames. Overnight news has broken via Deadline about another new Star Trek project in the works at CBS. The studio is set to launch the second season of the popular Discovery franchise and is also working on a new series starring Patrick Stewart. HBO has finally released the first official teaser for the final season of Game of Thrones! The short trailer, dubbed “Crypts of Winterfell” features the Stark children reunited surrounded by the ghosts of their fallen relatives. The teaser itself features no footage from the season but it does confirm one very important detail. The show will return on April 14, 2019.
