Box office forecasting is becoming a full time job for some. As more and more huge releases hit the screen the press is becoming evermore obsessed with pre-release tracking figures. We’ve seen Captain Marvel, the latest release from the Marvel/Disney partnership, sky rocketing from $100M to $120M in its forecast. Now a new report from Fandango has out the film ahead of some of your other favourites. It’s now said that Captain Marvel is pacing ahead of the likes of Wonder Woman and Aquaman in ticket sales. With his latest adventure due in cinemas later this year Warner Bros. is looking to the future of Godzilla. The King of Monsters is set to square off against King Kong in 2020 with the release of Godzilla vs. Kong.
