Yesterday news broke that Will Smith was stepping down from appearing in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad 2. At the time his departure was blamed on scheduling conflicts rendering him unable to appear in the movie. Now the rumour has been updated to add that Warner Bros. is considering whether to recast the role to allow the character to appear in the sequel.
