Cameras have started rolling on Sony Pictures latest Spider-Man Universe movie: Morbius. Lead actor Jared Leto has shared a veiled, behind-the-scenes look at his character on social media. As you can see from the tweet below there’s not very much to see but it’s great to know that production is finally underway. Yesterday the embargo finally lifted on reviews of Marvel’s Captain Marvel. Did the movie live up to the expectations of reviewers? Did it tank? No of course it didn’t. Despite all the of the negative press (just check out the comments on some of our Cap Marvel YouTube vids) the movie has been overly reviewed well. The score currently sites at 84% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Following the announcement that Hanelle Culpepper will be helming its pilot, the Picard solo Star Trek spin-off has begun to add new members to its cast. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Santiago Cabrera and Michelle Hurd have joined the show as series regulars. Cabrera rose to fame as clairvoyant painter Isaac Mendez on the inaugural season of NBC’s Heroes. He has also had leading roles on HBO’s Big Little Lies and CBS’ Salvation. Comic fans will remember that back in 2007 Cabrera was cast as Arthur Curry/Aquaman in George Miller’s cancelled Justice League movie.
