Great news for fans of the classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie today. Shout! Factory has announced that they are preparing the movie for a stand Alone Blu-ray release in June 2019. The movie was recently released as part of the MMPR anniversary box set but so far has been unavailable for digital or standalone purchase. Our friends over at Comic Book Resources have dug up some info on the runtime of Warner Bros. upcoming Shazam!. With ticketing websites preparing to launch pre-sales for the movie that means there are plenty of info pages popping up around the internet. Fandango is currently advertising the movie at 2hrs 12mins (132mins). A fairly hefty runtime which places average in the modern DC Films universe. By comparison Justice League is the shortest, clocking in at exactly 120mins whilst Batman v Superman clocked at at a whopping 151mins in theatres and over 3hrs on home video. Captain Marvel landed in cinemas across the globe late on Thursday night. All signs are pointing to what will be a very healthy weekend box office for the latest branch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Predictions put the film anywhere between $20M and $25M for the Thursday night. When the receipts were all counted that figure was $20.7M.
