Acclaimed director Steve Spielberg’s 2002 action-packed sci-fi thriller Minority Report is returning to home video in the UK. The film will debut a newly remastered edition on 4K UHD edition and a limited-edition 4K UHD Steelbook, available from February 2, 2026.
Originally released in 2002, the film was a global hit and hailed as one of the best sci-fi films of the 21st century. The mind-bending thrill-ride based on a story by famed science fiction writer Philip K. Dick, stars Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton and Max von Sydow.
Check out the film’s original theatrical trailer in the player below:
Tom Cruise is Precrime detective John Anderton. When he is “identified” as a future murderer, John must race against his own specialized police department and time itself to prove his innocence of a crime he has yet to commit. Visually stunning and packed with relentless action, the film is a cerebral, high-octane ride through a future where free will is under surveillance—and nothing is as it seems.
Minority Report has been remastered in 4K and the sparkling new transfer was reviewed and approved by Spielberg. The film is also presented with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 for optimal image quality. The 4K Ultra HD™ and Limited-Edition SteelBook® presentations will include the feature film on 4K Ultra HD™ and a Blu-ray™ with legacy bonus features.
