Exciting news from a very bleak and quiet world… John Krasinski is officially returning to write and direct A Quiet Place Part III, with Paramount Pictures setting a summer release date of July 9th, 2027.
As of right now, that is all we know but we’ll take it. Considering how Part II established a more direct way of fighting back as well as additional survivors, there’s definitely more to this story. While no cast members have been announced, we’re certain that the Abbott family will be back to guide us through this post-apocalyptic land once more.
Krasinski took to Instagram to reveal the exciting announcement with a very simple post. The number 3 in roman numerals and a date. Nothing else was really needed because everyone knew what was happening immediately. Fans absolutely love this world Krasinski created and we’re right there with them.
It will be interesting to see how this sequel evolves, what it will include, and whether it will mark the end of the A Quiet Place story. While it is definitely great to see Krasinski back behind the camera, we would absolutely love to see another flashback with Lee still in the picture.
For now, we’ll just have to take solace in knowing that A Quiet Place Part III is indeed happening, and that’s enough for now.
Of course, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled and your voices low. For more movie news, click here.
