USA Today has shared its annual preview of upcoming summer blockbusters. It’s 2025 roundup includes a tonne of movies which we’re getting very excited for. Even more exciting is the fact the roundup includes new stills from several of those movies including DC Studios’ Superman and Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps, both due for release in July.

There’s nothing too spoilery so don’t worry if you’re trying to go in to any of these movies blind. But updated synopses do maybe give a hint or two of the direction some of this year’s summer blockbusters are headed.

We’ve pulled out four of our hottest picks for the summer season below:

    Ballerina

Eve (Ana de Armas) is a dancer-turned-assassin on a mission of vengeance in the “John Wick” spinoff “Ballerina.”
    LARRY D. HORRICKS/LIONSGATE

The “John Wick” franchise spinoff features Ana de Armas as Eve, an orphaned child trained by a criminal organization to be a dancer and a ruthless assassin. The rookie killer goes rogue when she finds a chance for vengeance, leading to a faceoff between her and the legendary Baba Yaga himself, Wick (Keanu Reeves).

    Releasing June 6, 2025.

    Jurassic World: Rebirth

The massive undersea dino Mosasaurus returns in the newest franchise installment, “Jurassic World Rebirth.”
    UNIVERSAL PICTURES AND AMBLIN ENTERTAINMENT

The latest franchise installment centers on a team including a covert agent (Scarlett Johansson) and an expert paleontologist (Jonathan Bailey) sent to the island site of the original Jurassic Park to extract dinosaur DNA for a miracle drug. There, they find a shipwrecked human family and a host of extremely dangerous mutated monsters.

    Releasing July 2, 2025.

    Superman

Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) chats with Superman (David Corenswet) amid Metropolis rubble in James Gunn’s “Superman.”
    JESSICA MIGLIO/WARNER BROS. PICTURES

James Gunn’s rebooted DC superhero universe begins in earnest with his hope-filled take on the Man of Steel. David Corenswet is the new man in Superman’s cape and (and Clark Kent’s glasses) in a movie also featuring journalist Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), supervillain Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) and rambunctious superdog Krypto.

    Releasing July 11, 2025.

    Fantastic Four: First Steps

Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and his love Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) prepare to head into space in Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
    JAY MAIDMENT/MARVEL STUDIOS

Set in a retrofuturistic 1960s America, the latest Marvel adventure stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as astronauts bombarded by cosmic rays in space who have returned home as national heroes with superpowers. They’ll need those powers to stave off the imminent arrival of planet-eating bad guy Galactus.

    Releasing July 25, 2025.

The full preview also includes new looks at Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Naked Gun and more so make sure to check it out.
