Sony Pictures has debuted our first look at the upcoming Karate Kid: Legends with a brand new poster. The film, which unites original franchise star Ralph Macchio with remake actor Jackie Chan, is slated for UK release in May 2025.
No official synopsis for the film has been revealed but it’s clear that Macchio’s Daniel from 1984’s Karate Kid will travel to Japan where he is required to team with Chan’s Mr. Han from the 2010 remake in order to train new protege Li Fong, played by Ben Wang.

Karate Kid: Legends is written by Rob Lieber and directed by Jonathan Entwistle. The film stars Jackie Chan and Ralp Macchio, Ben Wang, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley and Ming-Na Wen.
The film comes to UK cinemas on May 30, 2025 from Sony Pictures.
