Director Tae-hwa Eom, who previously directed Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned, is back with a brand new film of chaos, disorder, and social decay. Concrete Utopia is set to arrive on UK and Ireland streaming platforms on April 1st, 2024.
When an earthquake reduces almost all of Seoul to smoking ruins, miraculously one building remains standing; Hwang Gung Apartments. Surrounded by destruction, the survivors try to restore order but as outsiders begin to seek refuge the residents soon realise that the real disaster is yet to come.
South Korea’s entry for the 2024 Oscar for Best International Feature, Concrete Utopia is a riveting new disaster epic starring Lee Byung-hun (Squid Game, I Saw The Devil) and Park Seo-joon (The Marvels, Parasite).
Concrete Utopia will be coming to UK and Ireland digital platforms on April 1st, 2024.
