Hold on to your seats horror fans. Paramount Pictures has given fans our first look at A Quiet Place: Day One, the prequel which promises to reveal what happened the moment the Earth fell silent to an alien attack. The film, the third in the A Quiet Place franchise, comes to UK cinemas on June 28, 2024.
The teaser finds Lumia Nyong’o’s character – and her cat – caught up in the chaos as New York is struck by the alien invasion. Chaos ensues and it certainly looks like Day One could be the most action-packed film in the franchise so far.

The briefest of official synopsis for the film simply says “experience the day the world went quiet”. But the question we’re dying to know the answer to is whether that poor cat survives the attack on New York!?
Based on a story by John Krasinski & Michael Sarnoski and characters by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck, A Quiet Place: Day One is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou.
