We’re just a few days away from the reveal of the first trailer for The Flash. With the excitement building for Sunday’s Super Bowl, Warner Bros. Pictures had kicked off what shall henceforth be known as Flash Friday with the reveal of the film’s first poster.
The simple one sheet see’s Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen in full costume, standing what appears to be the mouth of Michael Keaton’s Batcave. Looming above him is a very familiar silhouette, that of the Batwing. Without giving anything away it’s still a very cool way to kick off the film’s marketing campaign ahead of Sunday’s trailer.
Even now very little is known about the storyline of The Flash. A recently updated synopsis teases that Scarlet Speedster “pushes the limits of his superpowers in the DC Super-Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film”. Not a lot to go on is it? Hopefully the upcoming spot will lift the lid on the hotly anticipated release.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Ante Traue and Michael Keaton.
Warner Bros. Pictures releases The Flash exclusively in UK cinemas on June 16, 2023.
