Paramount Pictures has this morning announced home video plans for writer/director Parker Finn’s Smile. The highest grossing original horror film of 2022 will come to digital platforms in the UK on December 14 before arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K on December 26.

In our 3.5⭐ review Neil said “Utilising deeply disturbing imagery, Smile unsettles its audience with an exploration of trauma. Bolstered by an excellent production and Sosie Bacon’s heart-wrenching performance, it’s the perfect big studio movie for Halloween date night.”

In case you missed the film at the cinema, here’s a look at the trailer:

SMILE – the #1 original horror film of the year
Available to watch at home on Digital, December 14 and on DVD, Blu-ray™ and 4K UHD™ on December 26, 2022

Looking for the perfect alternative Christmas gift? From Paramount Home Entertainment, the terrifying and mind-bending box office smash hit film SMILE will be available to Download & Keep on December 14, 2022 and will arrive on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™, and DVD December 26.

Critics are calling SMILE “haunting” (Erik Davis, Fandango) and “scary as hell” (Alyse Wax, Collider). The film stars Sosie Bacon as Dr. Rose Cotter who, after witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.

The Digital*, 4K Ultra HD™, and Blu-ray™ releases come packed with over an hour of heart-pounding bonus content, including the award-winning, chilling short film by writer/director Parker Finn that inspired SMILE.  Face your fears with deleted scares not seen in cinemas, go behind the scenes with the cast and crew, then fully immerse yourself in the escalating nightmare with the director’s commentary.  Bonus content is detailed below:
