Review
In this issue we see a slightly different pace in the story as the Rangers split to go about their specific tasks. Zack and Trini find themselves getting more and more attached to an alien infant as no matter how hard they try is does begin to feel like a child to them, is it the right thing to do though getting this attached?
Jason and Yale come across a mysterious figure who claims to be good and wanting the Ranger’s help freeing the rest of his kind from the prison, but can he be trusted? The action ramps up as they attempt the jailbreak and take down the enemies as a complete unit, but there is still something shadowy about this being claiming to have Ranger abilities, something suspicious is going on and certainly doesn’t feel quite right to me.
As soon as you see that Ryan Parrott is the writer of a Power Rangers comic you just know it will be epic and he hasn’t let me down, bringing a story that is thought provoking and action packed in only the way he knows how, this is epic level comic book writing.
A story of this magnitude needs the illustrations to match and Marco Renna is definitely the person to deliver, each page is bold and bright with immense detailing in the drawing each page brings the story home.
Verdict
Once again an incredible job by the creative team. Ryan Parrott and Marco Renna are powerhouses in the comic book game and having those names at the helm you just know you are in for epic level reading.
