A brand new Transformers animated series, called Transformers: EarthSpark, is coming to Nickelodeon sometime this year. The news was announced during ViacomCBS’ Investors Event. Shortly after the presentation, fans received a look at the upcoming series which features old characters and fresh faces.
The animated show revolves around a young boy who befriends a Transformer- sound familiar? Not much else is known about the series since the short teaser offers very little. However, we do know that Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. will have a part to play in this new adventure.

The franchise has been a bit quiet lately, but it looks as though the Autobots are ready for another bout. It’s going to be a long wait, but we can’t wait to see what else this amazing world of transforming vehicles has to offer. That’s the amazing thing about Transformers, there are so many stories and fascinating periods that need to be explored. We hope that fans, like ourselves, are equally exciting to dive back into the historic and brutal battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
We certainly have plenty of brilliant Transformer content to be looking forward to. On top of EarthSpark, we also have Transformers: Rise of the Beasts , the seventh movie in the franchise, to look forward to. Rise of the Beasts is now set to be released on June 9th, 2023.
