The Book of Boba Fett has been an interesting series, hasn’t it? We’ve had a lot of ups and a few downs. We’ve had episodes that have just turned into episodes of The Mandalorian, and we’ve had episodes where Boba Fett barely showed his face. However, we can all agree that The Book of Boba Fett has done a phenomenal job at surprising. However, the most recent episode really went above and beyond…
Fans of The Clone Wars would have instantly recognised the silhouette that appeared towards the end of Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett. As soon as we saw that iconic cowboy hat, we knew and we… couldn’t really believe it either. Cad Bane… In live action? Could it be. As a fan of Cad Bane in general, it was a truly awesome moment. They absolutely nailed his look and what was so fascinating about his appearance which only goes to show how popular his is… Is that they didn’t even mention his name.
We’ve been waiting for an official look at Cad Bane, and today we finally got a poster featuring the infamous bounty hunter.

It’s safe to assume that Cad Bane will be back for the season finale. We had always hoped that he would appear in some shape or form and The Book of Boba Fett seemed like the only logical option. Bane and Fett have had a history together. In fact, Cad was the bounty hunter that dented Boba’s iconic helmet- which was revealed in an undeveloped clip for season 7 of The Clone Wars. On top of that, Bane and Fennec fought briefly in The Bad Batch. This show it literally perfect for Cad Bane. We can probably expect to see both Fennec and Boba face off against Cad Bane in the season finale whilst everyone else deals with the Pyke’s army. Despite Cad being on the enemy team… Let’s hope he sticks around, he is too cool of a character to simply bring in and then immediatly kill. Plus, we’ve seen Cad go up against two Jedi before, he isn’t an easy target to dispose of.
