As promised, the first trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 premiered early this morning at The Game Awards. The Paramount Pictures film, which releases in April, introduces a host of new character from the legendary franchise and certainly doesn’t disappoint!
With Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey), Knuckles (Idris Elba) and the returning Doctor Robotnik (Jim Carrey) all making appearances it looks like Sonic 2 will be an wild ride through the Sega Universe.

Once again directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic 2 reunites Jim Carrey, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz. The sequel is due in cinemas on April 8, 2022.
