It’s our belief that if you’re a Star Wars fan, regardless of the era, you should try and own at least one lightsaber. There is no better feeling than wielding a lightsaber and pretending to be your favourite Jedi or Sith. Lightsabers are simply iconic and Hasbro knows this… Hense why they keep releasing more and more. Dooku, Ahsoka, Palpatine, the Darksaber, and now Rey’s lightsaber from The Rise of Skywalker.
This particular lightsaber comes with a weathered fabric wrap and the option to display the saber with and without the blade. For those collectors who are running out of space (us), the non-bladed version would be a fantastic option and it’s not exactly difficult to attach the blade so you can still enjoy the sounds and stunning effects.

Hasbro has done a fantastic job at recreating this new hilt. It perfectly reflects Rey as a character, capturing Rey’s staff and overall aesthetic brilliantly, and it has that gorgeous yellow blade. In terms of Black Series, this is their first yellow-bladed saber and we can’t wait to see what it looks like ignited- especially in the dark.
Just like previous Elite sabers, this lightsaber comes with various different sounds and features such as a twist-to-ignite function, battle clash effects, and a molten tip effect.
Unfortunately, this lightsaber is not due out until May 2022. It can be preordered via Forbidden Planet and is priced at £257.99.
