    Don’t make a sound… A QUIET PLACE PART II is out on DVD, Blu-Ray & 4K now!

It’s finally here. A Quiet Place Part II is available to own on DVD, Blu-Ray & 4K from today. So what are you waiting for? Get ready for the epic sequel that proved that sound really is the enemy. A Quiet Place Part II opens up the terrifying world even more with new threats and brand new perspectives. If you’re new to this quiet hell, don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Here’s what you can expect from the spine-tingling sequel:

If they hear you, they hunt you! Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path in this “gripping, edge-of-your-seat thriller” (Scott Mantz, BFCA) written and directed by John Krasinski.

Don’t forgot, you can also check out Neil’s full reveiw right here.

When it comes to sequels, nerves tend to be rather high. Will it hold up? Will it be better? or will it send the franchise plummeting down? It’s safe to say that A Quiet Place Part II is one of the strongest sequels out there. Not only is it wildly captivating in terms of its scope, but it’s also equally as chilling and ruthless as the original. Despite being somewhat mentally prepared for more or less of the same, A Quiet Place Part II hit us with a few surprises. We get to see the world through fresh eyes, explore what’s left of the human race and see the monstrous creatures like never before.

After watching the first film, we were desperate to see more of the monsters. There was something about them that fully transformed the film… their presence, agility and intimidating appearance. It’s like John Krasinski heard our plea and unleashed pandora’s box to torment the Abbott family. Not that we’re not grateful… But this poor family has to deal with so much. But they’re strong and fierce, we’re excited to see what else is thrown their way if the journey continues.

What we also love, almost as much as the movie itself, is behind-the-scenes content. Being able to fully understand the process, artistry and commitment behind particular films is incredibly interesting and illuminating. If you pick up a copy of A Quiet Place Part II you’ll be able to enjoy so much more than just the film. Here’s what awaits you:

    • Director’s Diary: Filming with John Krasinski
    • Pulling Back the Curtain
    • Regan’s Journey
    • Surviving the Marina
    • Detectable Disturbance: Visual Effects and Sound Design

There’s nothing better than sitting back and watching the magic unfold. How certain stunts were done, how certain shots were crafted, and what it was like on set. We, as viewers, get to go behind-the-scenes to see how the action was created and how the story actually evolved. As soon as filming was finished on the first film, ideas started to develop. What more does this world have to offer? It turns out that there’s a lot out there.

One of the most intriguing elements of these various featurettes is that you actually get to see the scope of the film. The first film was very contained to just a view locations within a limited vicinity. But now, on Regan’s journey we get to visit new locations and they all came with different obstacles not just for the characters but also for the crew.

A definite highlight would absolutely be “Detectable Disturbances”. As much as we love getting to know what it’s like behind the camera, there is something incredibly cool about the visual effect process especially when it revolves around a creature. A creature that is unique in design and structure. In the two films, these creatures are somewhat enigmas. But this short featurette goes into great depth about their design, characteristics, and their evolution from the first film to Part II. They reveal a lot of information about these creatures and it made our third rewatch even more exciting as we were looking for those small details. Looking at how the creature responded to sound and how the creatures reacted with real elements. The blend of CGI and practical effect is incredible and we’re super glad that A Quiet Place Part II was able to explore that.

There’s a lot to explore and enjoy so we urge you to pick up A Quiet Place Part II. Enjoy the film from the safety of your home, we discovered that it was drastically less stressful. Once you’ve finished stressing out and cowering, you can dive into the filmmaking process. Unfortunately, the bonus content isn’t on for long so you can burn through them in less than 30 minutes. Regardless of the length, there’s still a lot to enjoy and it made us appreciate A Quiet Place Part II even more.

A Quiet Place: Part II is available to Download & Keep now and on 4K Ultra HD+Blu-ray, Blu-ray & DVD from the 30th August.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place Part II stars Emily Blunt, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds and Cillian Murphy.
