The Walking Dead fans waited a long time for the show to return with its season 10 finale. AMC rewarded those fans with the news it was commissioning an extra six episodes which form a so-called Season 10 C.
These next six episodes find the survivors picking up the pieces following the destruction that the Whisperers left in their wake. Past years haven’t been kind and old traumas begin to resurface, exposing their more vulerable sides. As they question the state of humanity, their collective community, and the state of their minds, will they find the inner strength to persevere with their lives, friendships, and group intact?
There’s some huge moments to be found in the below trailer. It seems Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be wrestling with his inner demons. Whilst Maggie (Lauren Cohan) will be wrestling with Negan’s integration in to the community.
The extended season will include a number of new guest stars including Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Hilarie Burton Morgan (White Collar) and Okea Eme-Akwari (Cobra Kai).
The long delayed finale of The Walking Dead season 10 finally aired on AMC in the US on October 4, 2020 before making it to UK shores on the following day. New episodes return on February 28 on AMC with AMC+ subscribers gaining early access three days prior to transmission.
