The rumors for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 have started to mount up. The prospect of a multiverse has really opened the doors to a number of different possibilities. We’re looking at characters returning from the Raimi trilogy and from Andrew Garfield’s two films. But how true are these rumors?
While on a press tour for Marvel’s WandaVision, Kevin Feige finally decided to address the rumors. However, he neither confirmed or denied any of them. Check out what the president of Marvel Studios had to say:
“The fun thing about online speculation when it comes to our stuff is how sometimes it couldn’t be more off the mark and sometimes it’s shockingly close, and that’s held true for the last few years. But saying which is which would take all the fun out of everything.”
From this, it looks as though some of the rumors circulating may be incredibly close to being true. Which ones they… is a complete mystery. Of course, Feige is right. Having any of the casting rumors would take the fun out of it. But still, we’re all dying to know whether we’ll see Toby Maguire back as Peter Parker. Can you imagine?
Which rumors do you think are true? Let us know your thoughts in the comments and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more news. Hopefully soon we’ll get an official title for Spider-Man 3. According to Feige, it definitely isn’t Spider-Man 3.
Directed once again by John Watts, the Untitled Spider-Man 3 film will hit screens December 17, 2021.
