ICYMI: over the weekend Disney confirmed that the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will debut on ESPN’s Monday Night Football in North America.
To the rest of us that means we won’t see the trailer until the early hours of tomorrow morning but anticipation is at an all-time high.

The film will see the return of Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), and Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix).
Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) will also all return to reprise their iconic roles from previous films.
The late Carrie Fisher will appear via previously unreleased archive footage.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
