It seems like 2020 is going to be a big year for fans of the Ju-On franchise, as it’s apparently not just the planned movie remake that is currently on the cards.
While nothing has been announced officially as of yet, people have discovered that Netflix has a landing page for a series with the below synopsis;
The J-Horror classic franchise “Ju-On” was actually based on real events that occurred over four decades – and the truth is even more terrifying.
After scoring a huge hit with The Haunting of Hill House last year, it would be no surprise for Netflix to try and replicate the haunted house series success with a proven franchise, especially one that’s been dormant for a while awaiting a reboot.
While we currently have no details about whether this will be an English or International series, the series is apparently on the cards for Spring 2020, just before the planned remake hits theatres.
