Finally we have some potential news on when Doctor Strange 2 might enter production. Star Benedict Wong recently appeared at Denver Pop Culture Con and LRM (via CBR) has some news for you…
Whilst appearing at the convention Wong was quote as saying “I know they’ve now got a writer on board who I met at the Endgame premiere. So I think that may be happening some time next year.”
What isn’t 100% clear at this stage is whether Wong meant that writing would begin next year, or whether the cameras will roll with a writer currently working on the movie.
At this stage there is no official announcement from Marvel Studios on the project.
