Yesterday we celebrate 56 years since the first ever episode of Star Trek aired on screens in the US. Paramount+ celebrated the anniversary with a special live stream hosted by Lower Decks cast members Tawny Newsome and Paul F. Tompkins who were joined by stars from across the Trek universe.
The first panel featured the legendary Sir Patrick Stewart alongside fellow Star Trek: Picard cast members Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd. The trio teased what to expect from the upcoming final season and then surprised the audience with a first look teaser!

The third and finale season of Picard will see Stewart return alongside Ryan and Michelle Hurd who plays Raffi. The rest of the core Picard cast has now exited to make room for the returning TNG crew. They will also be joined by long-time Trek actor Brent Spiner. Spiner is suspiciously absent from both the trailer and the posters with producers clearly trying to keep his role a secret.
Star Trek: Picard will return to Paramount+ in the US on February 16, 2023. Here in the UK the final season will stream on Prime Video.
