We’re just over a month away before the release of the next installment in the MonsterVerse universe, Godzilla vs Kong. After years of waiting, Godzilla will finally face the king of Skull Island, Kong. The film promises to be an epic war between two titans. Of course, that isn’t the only thing going on. Fans can expect to dive deep into Kaiju mythology while a larger threat, specifically a metal one, lurks in the shadows waiting for the right moment to strike.
In anticipation for this long awaited release, we received a Chinese poster showing Godzilla and Kong battling underwater. Fans will recognize this scene from the trailer. This looks to be Kong and Godzilla’s first encounter. While the two Titans collide, the forces of man struggle to keep up. Jets are raining down and aircraft carriers are reduced to rubble.
Was putting their faith in Kong the right move? We’ll find out soon enough.

Pretty cool, right? Although with Kong behind submerged in water we’re certain that this is a fight Kong can’t win. It’s Godzilla’s domain, after all. But Kong will definitely have his chance to even the odds.

Godzilla vs Kong is set be released on HBO Max on March 31st. There’s still no news regarding how UK fans will be able to watch it. Our hope is that we’ll receive more information closer to the HBO release date and once we know when Cinemas can safely reopen. It looks like they could be allowed to open mid May.
