The final countdown to DC Studios’ second theatrical release, Supergirl, is about to begin. That means we’re about to start seeing a whole lot more of Milly Alcock as the Maiden of Might ahead of the film’s June 25, 2026 debut in cinemas across the UK.
Overnight several new spots for the film have surfaced online, bringing with them a tonne of new footage of Kara, Superman and plenty of action from the Craig Gillespie directed film. First up is a new spot which reveals Kara’s arrival on Earth which includes a new look at David Corenswet as the Man of Steel:
Several short spots have now also arrived on social media platforms as sponsored videos from the official Supergirl accounts. These two spots include more footage of Superman and reveal the moment Kara receives her Supergirl costume from her cousin:
In Supergirl, Milly Alcock stars alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.
DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn are producing the film, which is based on characters from DC, Supergirl based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film is executive produced by Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designers Anna B. Sheppard and Michael Mooney, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, music supervisor Susan Jacobs and composer Claudia Sarne.
Supergirl will release in UK and Irish cinemas on June 25, 2026 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
