20th Century Studios has announced that Sami Raimi’s brilliant Send Help will be coming home in the UK on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD this May. The darkly comedic and twisted survival thriller will release in stores on May 4, 2026.
Raimi describes the film as a darkly comedic reversal of power: “What if a woman was cheated by the boys’ club at work, held down by corporate management and a terrible, mean boss who treats her unfairly? And what if they crash-landed on an island and the roles were reversed?” That premise erupts onscreen through the explosive performances of Rachel McAdams (“Linda Liddle”) and Dylan O’Brien (“Bradley Preston”), whose ferocious clash for survival delivers both brutal tension and bursts of unexpected humour.
In our four-star review of the film Matt said “Send Help is a reminder that we need more directors who aren’t afraid to have a “signature” look. If you’re a fan of Drag Me to Hell or Evil Dead, you’re going to love this—it’s a chaotic, hilarious, and thrilling ride that needs to be seen on the big screen.”
