Let the rampant speculation begin! In a profile from Esquire magazine his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is discussed.

Settling in on the couch, he groans. Evans explains that he is hurting all over because he just started his workout routine the day before to get in shape for the next two Captain America films. The movies will be shot back to back beginning in April. After that, no more red- white-and-blue costume for the thirty-five-year-old. He will have fulfilled his contract.

The article discusses how the lengthy shoots, promotional tours, and preparation required for the ‘Captain America’ and ‘Avengers’ movies mean that the actor has had no time to explore other facets of Hollywood like directing.

How would you feel if he stepped away after ‘Avengers: Infinity War’? We don’t think the MCU would ever be the same again!
