After a couple of weeks of waiting patiently the final Wonder Woman trailer has finally been released to the international press. It’s slightly modified to the version we first saw but there’s no huge spoilers to be had… sorry those of you hoping for Ares. He’s staying secret until June 1, 2017. Wonder Woman has also now been screened to the press. Sadly most of those press folk are held under an embargo until May 31 but a few reactions have found their way online. We’re happy to tell you those reactions are resoundingly positive! Here’s a few which have yet to be deleted:
Tickets are now on sale in many countries across the globe ahead of the films release. There’s been a few varying runtimes for the film that has been reported but it’s now widely accepted that the film will run 2hrs 21mins. That puts it just two minutes shy of the runtime for Man of Steel.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world in June when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins (MONSTER, AMC’S THE KILLING). Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, based on characters from DC. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston. The film is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, Wesley Coller, Jon Berg and Rebecca Steel Roven serving as executive producers. Joining Jenkins behind the camera are director of photography Matthew Jensen (CHRONICLE, FANTASTIC FOUR, HBO’S GAME OF THRONES), Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto (AMELIE, A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT, PAN), Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh (CHICAGO, JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT, V FOR VENDETTA), and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY, TOPSY-TURVY).
