It’s been almost 18 months since She-Hulk first burst on to our screens on Disney+. But in the time since the series not much has been spoken about whether the series will continue. During a recent live-stream, Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany was asked whether a season 2 was on the cards and her response may disappoint fans.
During an appearance on NerdIncorrect’s Twitch livestream, Maslany revealed that she doesn’t have high hopes for a second season.
“I don’t think so,” Maslany answered to questions on season 2. “I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like ‘no thanks.'”
Whilst this is disappointing to hear it doesn’t come as a surprise. She-Hulk was a full CGI character and that requires the kind of budget normally afforded to a theatrical release. That being said fans really took to Maslany in the role and there’s hope the character will appear elsewhere in the MCU down the line.
