Disney is forging ahead with plenty of original content for its new Disney+ streaming service. With several Star Wars series in development the studio is also working on widening its Marvel Cinematic Universe on to the small screen.
One of the previous announced projects, Falcon & Winter Solider, has now been confirmed to run for six episodes and has found itself a director.
Deadline has revealed that Emmy-nominated and BAFTA award-winning director Kari Skogland (The Handmaid’s Tale) will direct all six episodes.
Interestingly the report also confirms that Daniel Bruhl and Emily Van Camp are in talks to return as Zemo and Sharon Carter. Both were last seen in Captain America: Civil War.
Will the series follow Sam’s transition from Falcon to Captain America following the events of Avengers: Endgame?
