‘Power Rangers’ Blu-ray, DVD special features detailed

You’ve seen the Blu-ray trailer (below). You’ve seen the package art (further below). Now we have the first details of the special features which will come packaged with the Power Rangers home video release. Thanks to Power Rangers Now we’ve got a list of features for the 4k/Blu-ray release and also for the DVD release.

The 4k,Blu-ray and Digital HD release will come with the following features:

– Audio commentary by director Dean Israelite and writer John Gatins

– Deleted/Alternate/Extended scenes

– Outtakes

– Theatrical trailer with optional audio commentary by director Dean Israelite

– ‘The Power of the Present’ 9-part behind-the-scenes documentary.

‘The Power of the Present’ documentary features chapters including “Rangers then to Now”, “Building the Team”, “Beyond the Rangers”, “Suiting Up”, Rangers, Welcome to Training”, “Rangers in the Wild”, “It’s Morphin Time”, “Power Ballad: Music and Sound” and “This is Your Destiny”.

The DVD release will come packaged with the audio commentary, deleted scenes and outtakes features.

Sabans Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove (and the world) is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Directed by Dean Israelite, Saban’s Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, featuring Bill Hader, with Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks. The screenplay is by John Gatins. Story is by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless and Michele Mulroney and Kieran Mulroney. Producers are Power Rangers creator Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Wyck Godfrey, and Marty Bowen.
