Calling all Venom fans, Variety has some news for you! The trade is carrying a report that a sequel to the surprise hit of 2018 is now in the works.
Whilst the studio has yet to make an official announcement it is said that original screenwriter Kelly Marcel is returning to work on the sequels script.
Star Tom Hardy is believed to have signed a multi-picture deal and is a lock to return as Eddie Brock. He’ll be joined by Michelle Williams as Anne Weying and Woody Harrelson, who we believe will be suiting up as Carnage the second time around.
With director Reuben Fleischer busy shooting a Zombieland sequel in the coming months it is expected a new director will join the sequel.
