Spidey is on the move in North America. Sony Pictures has confirmed that the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home will shift from its planned July 5 release date to July 2.
The three-day move is understood to be to take advantage of the Independence Day holidays on Thursday, July 4. The extra holiday will be sure to give the movie a boost at the box office.
Unless the UK branch of Sony decides to shift our release date this will mean the movie hits cinemas in North America a full 24hrs earlier.
