Movie ticket websites in North America are preparing to launch sales for Avengers: Endgame. Thanks to CBR.com we’ve got a look at a slightly updated synopsis for the movie being touted by one of those companies.
Fans who visit Atom Tickets are being treated to a holding page for the movie which features a longer synopsis than that you can already seen lower down this page.
The new synopsis goes to great lengths to point out how the remaining Avengers might try to defeat Thanos the second (or repeat!) time around:
Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.
Aside from the awesome power of Captain Marvel there’s also a clear reference to the Quantum Realm there. They might as well just have mentioned time travel!
