Fans are continuing to eagerly await the second trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot. But whilst the studio remains coy about when we’ll see more footage we do have some very exciting news for fans.
It’s been announced by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America to us outside the US) that the Neil Marshall directed movie will be rated R. This high rating is due to “strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language.”
According to the website for their UK equivalent (the BBFC) we don’t yet have a rating. A R-rating could translate to an 18 here or it could be a 15. Watch this space and we’ll let you know as soon as the film is classified.
It's what we deserve. Neil Marshall's HELLBOY: Rated R for strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language…and because they advertised it as "Legendary AF."
