Chris Pine learned of WONDER WOMAN 1984 return long before us

Chris Pine in STAR TREK

Chris Pine is currently on the promotion circuit for new Netflix movie Outlaw King. Recently he was in the UK doing rounds of TV and radio interview when an interesting topic came up.

Speaking with BBC Radio 1 here in the UK Pine was asked about his return in Wonder Woman 1984. Speaking on his potential resurrection Pine said “Patty [Jenkins] had told me this idea somewhere in the middle of the first one,” revealing he wasn’t at all surprised by the news. “And when Patty gets an idea, it’s a pretty powerful thing, because you can see the kernel land in the dirt and then all of a sudden it just starts growing and it becomes a tree… She can make you do anything.”
