‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ opens to $201.2M overseas

Setting a huge benchmark for itself in preparation for its US opening on 1st May ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has taken a huge $201.2M in the overseas box office.

Opening in 44 different territories across the world ‘Ultron’ has taken the #1 slot in each and every one of those box offices and exceeded the opening of it’s predecessor by 44%.

Many sites are reporting that this is also the biggest IMAX opening weekend ever for a release outside of China with $10.4M of the profits coming from IMAX screenings alone.
