DC Universe has been up and running since September. The streaming service is celebrating a successful launch by announcing a whole slate of upcoming new additions including some exciting exclusive.
December will see just a small amount of new content come to the service ahead of a bumper month in January. Coming up over the next couple of weeks the service will be adding:
- 12/17: DCU Yule Log (new)
- 12/28: The New Adventures of Batman
- 12/28: The New Adventures of Superman
January however will be an exciting time for fans. In addition to the premiere of Young Justice: Outsiders, DC will be opening its archive and bringing us the unaired pilot for 2007’s defunct Aquaman TV series!
That pilot will air alongside a whole host of new Batman and Superman themed content including the premiere of Reign of the Supermen. Also joining the streaming platform are:
- 1/1: Green Lantern: The Animated Series
- 1/1: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
- 1/1: Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
- 1/4: Young Justice: Outsiders (DCU Original)
- 1/8: All-Star Superman
- 1/11: Aquaman TV Pilot (2007)
- 1/15: Superman vs The Elite
- 1/22: Superman Unbound
- 1/29: Reign of the Supermen (DC animated movie new release)
It’s also been announced that following Regin of the Supermen all of DC’s animated movies will premiere on the streaming platform. The announcement was made by host Tiffany Smith during Friday’s episode of DC Daily which you can see in the player below!
