DC Films adds new VP

DC Films

Overnight THR has run an exclusive report on the continued shakeup over at DC Films. Back in January we learnt that Walter Hamada would be taking over as the studios new president. Hamada would take on the post vacated by Jon Berg after Justice League failed to set audiences alight.

Now comes news that Chantal Nong has been tapped to be the new VP of Production. Nong has been with Warner Bros. since 2011 most recently overseeing development of The Meg, an upcoming prehistoric shark movie starring Jason Statham, and Crazy Rich Asians. She previously worked on a number of other films including 300: Rise of an Empire

Her role will oversee production and management of the full DC slate. THR notes that Flashpoint and Batgirl are at the forefront of the next wave of films to enter production.
